  • Patient-Reported Outcomes - This module aims to provide an in-depth understanding of how life sciences companies view and utilize patient-reported outcomes in their clinical operations and medical affairs teams. Patient-reported outcomes are defined as any report of the status of a patient’s health condition that comes directly from the patient, without interpretation of the patient’s response by a clinician or anyone else. Because clinical trial data often focuses on clinical outcomes related to improving existing, high-priority mortality and morbidity issues, they often overlook quality-of-life conditions that patients view as equally important to managing their disease. Patient-reported outcomes are increasingly incorporated into patient treatment, as well as clinical testing.

  • Effective Communication - The changing terrain of communication has made the need for becoming a competent communicator even more significant. This module will help you develop foundational and advanced skills in communication, especially communication related to the life sciences. More specifically, this course will focus on effectively presenting scientific data to a wide variety of audiences and a wide variety of settings.

  • Speaker Programs - With the ever-evolving and innovative technology world we live in, pharmaceutical companies have gotten creative in providing speaker programs using various outlets. By understanding the changing landscape surrounding these educational programs, life science professionals can better utilize the sources of knowledge available to them.

  • Drug Literature Evaluation - Healthcare professionals have an essential responsibility to stay up to date with the latest drug literature. However, it can be a daunting task to critically evaluate clinical studies to make recommendations based on evidence-based medicine. This module serves as a one-stop shop that equips learners with the tools needed for drug literature evaluation, including study design review, literature searches, drug information responses, and strategies for keeping up with rapidly expanding medical information.

  • Pharmacy Mobile Applications & Resources - Mobile health is rapidly expanding through smartphones, tablets, wearables, and other technologies used to enhance patient care delivery and public health practice. This course reviews how mobile applications support point-of-care decision-making, medication dispensing and administration, and the broader growth of mHealth across healthcare professionals and consumers.
